«DON SANTO» OLIVES ARE A HIGH QUALITY PRODUCT FROM SICILY, freshly seasoned and traditional
OLIVE VERDI NOCELLARA ETNEA
Freshly picked from the tree, this classic olive from the foot of Mount Etna is a sour fruit.
In order to harmonise its taste, it is crushed and together with the fruit's stone submerged in salt water to ripen for one year. Finally, it is seasoned and turned in oil. The result is a fine Don Santo Olive.
Ingredients: Squashed green olives with stone, olive oil enriched with sunflower oil, chilli pepper, oregano, garlic, parsley, white wine vinegar.
OLIVE NERE NOSTRANE
The black olive is cultivated all over Sicily. At harvest, it is green. Only after months of submersion in salt water it gains its typical dark colour, which further darkens afterwards.
Ingredients: Black olives with stone, Sicilian olive oil enriched with sunflower oil, chilli pepper, oregano, parsley, white wine vinegar, (no garlic).

Regional products, certified by q.inspecta, are subject to strict quality controls. Suppliers may only be located within a 30 km radius around the respective branch. At least 60 percent of the value of processed products must be produced locally.
